2024 Career Day Guest Speakers

We are so thankful for our friends, family, and community volunteers who provided college and career chats with our students to build our awareness of GGUSD Goal 3: Lifelong Success. Our guests had a variety of experiences in areas that included: radio broadcasting, optometry, nutrition, speech & language, jewelry design, library & research, commercial production, film/TV directing, biotech science, food science, industrial designing, public health community researcher, singer, welder, and law enforcement.  Students took notes and participated in asking questions.  Part of our AVID Elementary program increases our students' knowledge of a variety of careers and scholarly habits they can practice now.  Our Newhope student council was on hand to award our guests with certificates.
